No.1 Card 2016

fredag 30 december 2016

Hello everyone!
Cardmaking and blogging have taken a back burner here, as I am guessing it has for you as well. But, I wanted to take part in Deep Oceans challenge when I saw it, "Your own absolute No. 1 Card or Project 2016".

I created this in early winter, in good time before Christmas and I must say I love it.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and in case this is my last post before New Year,
I wish you all a Happy New Year!

Hello there crafters!
Most of my Christmas cards are now on their way to their destinations, and I am now in the process of wrapping Christmas presents. Warm Winter Greetings

måndag 19 december 2016

Hello there crafters!
For todays post I have created another Winter/Christmas card, it may be the last before the holiday, but you never know...:)
I used a piece of old leftover paper as a base background, and some blue Distress ink, a "Snowfall" stencil from Hot Off The Press and a distress tool gave me the snowflakes background. Next I used the "Winter Warmth" stamp set together with the coordinating dies from My Favourite Things. I added some foam tape behind the pieces. The sentiment is from K-designs. I added a punched out glitter snowflake and finished off with a few sequins.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I know everyone has busy days right now.

Christmas Greetings

fredag 16 december 2016

Hello everyone!
I´m back to share a card that I created with watercolors and some dies. I really like this wintry scene...so peaceful.
I used several colors of Distress ink to the background and used the snowball stencil from My Favourite Things together with white embossing paste to the snow.
Next, the following dies was used, Marianne Design LR0353 (skyline), Memory Box Forest Hills Landscape and Traditional Stars, Mama Elephant (border). Then I stamped the Vilda Stamps sentiment and heat embossed it with Silver Pearl pouder and adhered it on my card with foam tape together with the other die-cut pieces. I finally added a little Platinum Stickles in some windows.
That´s all for today! As always thanks so much for stopping by my blog!

Up With The Cake

onsdag 14 december 2016

Hello there!
Today I have no Christmas card to show but a birthday card instead. For this male card I have used one of Tim Holtz "crazy dogs" stamps along with a couple of STAMPlorations "party mates" stamps.
I colored them up with Copics, Glossy Accents and glitter. For the sentiment I used a Gummiapan stamp and the paper are from an old K-design collection, so I think it must be retired. The numbers were die cut with Mama Elephant dies.
Thank you for stopping by my blog! I hope you have a wonderful day!

We Wish You All A Joyous Christmas

tisdag 13 december 2016

Hello there crafters!
Now, time passes quickly, it's almost Christmas and I'm very happy for all the Christmas cards that I have done in the past weeks! Here is one of the last that I have time to create before Christmas, and as usual, I have found inspiration over at Muse:ChristmasVisions.
I apologize for the poor light, it's that time of the year:) I decided to create my own tree background by using some green Distress inks and a couple of stamps. I then used the Evergreen Landscape die from Poppy Stamps to cut out the tree line. I cut off some trees and placed the background behind. The Reprint sentiment was stamped in black and a Mandys die cut was also added. I felt that something was missing, and I had a MFT car leftover from a previous project lying on my table, I adhered it and I think that was exactly what was needed to make the card complete.
Thanks for visiting!

Christmas Carols

torsdag 8 december 2016

Hi friends!
Here's a card with some, for some of you who are not used to Lucia, and even for us who are used to Lucia, a bit unusual Christmas guests who sings Christmas carols for us. I think they´re cute!
It´s a Lucia stamp from Gummiapan that I have used, and colored with my Copics. I also added some glitter Stickles before I cut it out. The background is made by sponging some Distress inks on watercolor paper, splattered some water over and then lifted the axcess with a dry paper towel. I created the lower part using the Cottage die from Wild Rose Studio and adhered it with foam tape. Next, I stamped the Reprint sentiment in black, I cut out the Musical Notes with dies from Die-namics. Okay, I think that´s about it.
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today!

Winter Magic

tisdag 6 december 2016

Hello there!
Thanks for stopping by! I´ve created a vintage Christmas card today using a Snow Globe Sweet Poppy Stencil, Distress inks, Star Dust Stickles, Glossy Accents and some 3D snow. I cut it out by hand.
Next, I created the background using a piece of old paper, a snowfall stencil from Hot Off The Press and embossing paste. I sprinkled over loose glitter before the paste had dried. Next, I stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment from Bildmålarna and cut it out. I like to use Tim Holtz Holiday Greens dies, they always match...even this time. Besides the image, I also added some pearls, twine and natural ribbon.
Okay, that´s it for today. I hope you have a great week!

Merry Christmas

söndag 4 december 2016

Hello there crafters!
Today I have another Christmas card for you and Muse:ChristmasVisions where Robyn Oliver is this weeks muse. It's very simple and it suits me because I have been sick for a few days and not had the energy to craft so much.
For my card, I first sponged a piece of paper with Distress inks. Next I used a snowflake stencil from Hot Off The Press together with white embossing paste, I sprinkled over with loose glitter before it had dried. I think, it must glisten a lot of a Christmas card like this. The Inkido sentiment is stamped and heat embossed on vellum, to finish of I added a few star sequins.
Okie dokie, that´s it for me today. Thank you for stopping by!

Winter Magic

fredag 2 december 2016

Hello everyone!
It´s been quiet here on the blog for over a whole week, I think it has never happened before. But it has been crazy much to do, so the time has simply not been enough, I need more hours in the day:)
But now I´m back with this card, which is created with watercolors and a stamp from Nellie Snellen that was white heat embossed before I colored it up. I also splattered some water and white paint over the image to get that snowy look. Something that´s not so visible is that I also added Star Dust Stickles for great glitter. The sentiment from Lawn Fawn Winter Big Scripty Words stamp set is stamped and then cut with the coordinating dies.
That´s all for today. As always thanks so much for stopping by!

tisdag 22 november 2016

Hello there crafters!
Now I really have to hurry up if I shall be able to link up my card for this week's Addicted to Stamps and More photo inspiration challenge before time runs out.
When I saw the challenge I really wanted to try doing something to it. This time I have used Penny Blacks Ornately Merry stamp set, Distress inks, and a piece of old Authentic paper from my stash. Then I added a branch made with one of Tim Holtz Holiday Greens dies and some white enamel dots. I die-cut the mittens with Poppy Stamps Love Mittens die and adhered them too. Finally, I tied a twine around the card.
That´s all from me today. Thank you for stopping by!

My First Christmas

måndag 21 november 2016

Hello there crafters!
I have another Christmas card to share this week, featuring an adorable little stamp from Joy Cafts My first Christmas stamp set. This card will be perfect for my grandson and his family, he´s just that cute and small.
I colored up with watercolors and the hood got a layer 3D snow and glitter, then I cut it out by hand.  Next, I used the Xcut Star embossing folder and blue Distress inks for the background, I also splattered over a little white paint. I die cut the mountains and trees with Memory Box Forest Hills Landscape/Evergreen Landscape dies. The snowflakes is punched out of glitter paper. Okay, that´s all for me.

Christmas Tags

torsdag 17 november 2016

Hello everyone!
I think it's difficult with tags, they never becomes really good! Either they become too big ... or it turns out that they have the wrong color theme when it's time to use them. So now I have held on to gold and silver for my Christmas tags that suits almost everything, at least I think so.
And I almost copied Natasha and Cornelias tags over at Muse:ChristmasVisions. Besides that, I do not really know how 25 Days of Christmas Tags work. Do I need to link up there too? And where and when should I leave comments, it seems so complicated?
I link up to Muse:ChristmasVisions and hope that´s enough.
For the first tag I used the Gemstone embossing folder from We R Memory Keepers and a small stamp from an old Inkadinkado stamp set, that I gold heat embossed on vellum.
For the second tag I used the Poppy Stamps Forest Deer die, and the clouds was cut out of vellum with My Favourite Things dies.
That´s all for today! As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Merry Christmas

tisdag 15 november 2016

Hello friends!
Can you believe it´s middle of November already? Oh, my!! Now, time passes quickly until Christmas, and I must say that it feels good to have a lot of cards ready.
I just finished this one made for Muse:ChristmasVisions. I really wanted it to be a street scene, so I added a car maybe on the way home for Christmas.
I started with the patterned paper from ScrapBerry´s Once Upon a Winter collection, and continued with the Marianne Design skyline that was die cut both in black and white where the black was placed behind the white. I also used a piece of the Poppy Stamps Evergreen Landscape die cut behind the silhouette.
Next, I stamped, die cut and gold embossed the car from Lawn Fawn Home For The Holidays stamp set, also used to the sentiment. I die cut the words from Rox Stamps in gold paper, and added Platinum Stickles for a lot of glittering.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

Christmas Rectangle Pull Card

lördag 5 november 2016

Hello friends!
I'm trying to catch up to post here on my blog, but I fail all the time because a lot of things get in the way. This card has been on my desk for two weeks now and finally you will see it now.
I have created the card base by using a Elizabeth Craft Designs Rectangle Pull Card die together with papers from Panduro. Then I started to color the cute stamps from the My Favourite Things Merry Everything set with Copic Markers. I then cut them out using the coordinating dies. I also added some Glossy Accents and Star Dust Stickles. For the sentiment in the lower left corner, I used a Mandy´s die.
Another card for Christmas is ready and this time with a slightly different design, fun!
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Saturday!

Birthday Card

tisdag 1 november 2016

Hello everyone!
Today I thought I´d share a Birthday card using my sweet Lavinia stamp. It is such a beautiful stamp, ideal for silhouettes in black, at least I think so.
After stamping I clear heat embossed the image and then watercolored around it. Then the wings got a layer Star Dust Stickles. After drying I cut a little around the wings and one foot by hand so I could place the image into the oval that I had cut out of a piece of K-designs paper with a Die-namics die. For my sentiment, I die cut the words from Tim Holtz Celebrate set and drew with a black pen underneath for added dimension. I finished of with a few rhinestones and twine.

Wishing You A Joyful Christmas

lördag 29 oktober 2016

Happy Saturday!
I´ve just popped in for a post as I couldn´t resist to add another card for Muse:ChristmasVisions here on my blog. I like their challenges, what about this weeks pink Christmas card...I let my card go in  little more red tones actually.
First I used the resist technique by stamping the snowflakes, the Inkadinkado stamp and the small Scrapfabriken sentiment on watercolor paper and then clear heat embossed. Next I created a diagonal striped background with Distress inks, where I also splattered over both water and white ink. I die cut a Gummiapan sentiment out of glitter paper and added a painted black border under it, as well as the ornament. I finished of by adding a small piece of ribbon and some sequin stars because I just thought it needed "something".
Okay, that´s all from me today. I hope you have a great weekend!

tisdag 25 oktober 2016

Hi everyone!
I´m back again to share a new card for Muse:ChristmasVisions challenge.
This time, I only have used one stamp and that is for the sentiment. Except that I have only been using dies as - Tims Alterations Prancing Deer, Memory Box Frosted Christmas Trio and Roxstamps God Jul die. I also created a shaded background with the Polka Dotty stencil from Studio 490, and some Distress inks of course.
Thanks for the visit and have a great day!

MERRY & BRIGHT

lördag 22 oktober 2016

Hi everyone!
It continues to rain and be grayed outside, so I take the chance to create some more Christmas cards. Unfortunately, it´s also yet another card with lower picture quality because, it´s difficult to see the details in the white die cut cardstock.
To begin, I first used a Dixi Crafts paper from last years collection as a cardbase. Then I cut out the Cottage with a Wild Rose Studio die. In the left lover corner I cut the sentiment out with a Mandys die so that the background shows through. I adhered it with foam for added dimension. Next, I colored up the reindeer from My Favourite Things "Merry Everything" stamp set with my Copics and die cut with the companion die. I also added Glossy Accents to the scarf and some glitter to the ornaments. The sentiment to the right is from the same stamp set. Okay, that´s all for today.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

It´s Bean A While

torsdag 20 oktober 2016

 Hello there crafters!
Halloween is the theme that applies at almost all challenge blogs right now, therefore it felt so good when I found the Coffee challenge over at Addicted to CAS, I got inspired to create this project. I apologize for the poor light when shooting, it's so gray outside so the photos are not so good as I would like.
I started by cuting out the Memory Box "Coffee on the Go" die out of  a piece of old K-designs paper and adhered it with foam to create dimension.
Next I stamped the frame from the StampingScrappings "Fancy Accents" set in black and then clear heat embossed it. In the middle I stamped the sentiment with "Coffee" Archival Ink and heat embossed that too. I finished of by tying a piece of natural twine around.
I´m so glad you could stop by today and I hope you enjoyed today´s project!

tisdag 18 oktober 2016

Hello everyone!
I hope you are well. Here with me, it has now become autumn, outside my window it´s gray, misty and it's even raining a little bit. So I'm working on with my Christmas cards ... soon it's Christmas;)
This one is for Muse:ChristmasVisions where Chriss Blagrave is our Muse this week. I´ve watercolored a cute mouse from a Panduro stamp set combined with a Inkido sentiment. This is a truly OLC card, but I admit that I´ve added a little Glossy Accents to the heart and gold glitter Stickles to the star.
Okay, that's all for today.

Cupcake Inspirations Surprise Sweetie

söndag 16 oktober 2016

Hi everyone!
I am so super excited because I´m a Surprise Sweetie for Cupcake Inspirations today. I´ve had a wonderful time playing with this weeks color challenge.
This weeks sponsor is:  Waffle Flower
http://waffleflower.com/
For my first card I just cut out an oval from the front panel with one of MFT´s "Inside/Out Oval" dies and backed the panel with another piece of paper, which I made with Dylusions "Leaves" stencil and some red and pink Distress inks. I then colored up my little monster with Copics and cut out, as well as the sentiments from the Your Next Stamp "Silly Monsters" set.
For my second card I started stamping with the Altenew "Beautiful Day" set on watercolor paper and then spritzed it with water so that the colors blend. I also sprinkled over some paint with a brush. Then I stamped the Gummiapan sentiment in black and cut out the "hello" twice using a Mama Elephant die and layered them a little overlapped. I finished of by adding some Glossy Accents and a few ruby red enamel dots.
Stop by the Cupcake Inspirations for the challenge details and to play along!
As always thanks for stopping by!
